Our history
This is where our story began: the First Reifen-Müller branch in Bad Brückenau.
What began in 1962 when Otto Müller founded the business in Bad Brückenau has, over more than six decades, developed into a high-performing company specialising in tyres, car servicing and mobility. In 1966, Reifen-Müller KG was founded – another important milestone on our journey.
Thanks to entrepreneurial vision, personal commitment and a consistent focus on our customers’ needs, Reifen Müller has grown steadily. This has resulted in a strong network of branches, complemented by an efficient wholesale operation and our own retreading facility for commercial vehicle tyres.
Reifen Müller has been part of the Hankook Tire Group since 2018. Together, we are continuing to develop the company, combining our established regional strength and long-standing experience with the opportunities offered by an internationally positioned group of companies.
To this day, the ethos of our company’s founder, Otto Müller, continues to shape our business: staying close to our customers, acting with reliability and demonstrating a genuine passion for tyres and mobility. Otto Müller passed away in April 2024 at the age of 83. His entrepreneurial life’s work remains an important part of our identity.

Today, Reifen Müller stands for much more than just tyres. With around 700 staff and 45 service centres in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Thuringia and North Rhine-Westphalia, the company offers personalised advice, local access and reliable service.
Our central warehouse, covering more than 45,000 square metres, and our regional warehouses in Suhl and Leipheim ensure high stock availability and rapid delivery.
We combine over 60 years’ experience with modern mobility: from tyre and wheel services and comprehensive car servicing to solutions for cars, vans and lorries.
As part of the Hankook Tire Group, we at Müller are constantly developing our tyres – with state-of-the-art facilities, digital services and a clear goal: to make mobility easier, safer and more comfortable for our customers. In doing so, we remain true to what has always set us apart: a personal touch and reliable service.
