All it takes is a kerb, and the rim has a scratch. As part of our cosmetic repairs, we sand down the damaged area and repaint the rim, rather than replacing it. The wheel retains its appearance, and you save yourself the cost of buying a new one.
What we process
Typical examples include kerb damage to the rim flange, everyday scratches and scuffs, and paintwork that has become dull or flaked off over the years. Whether a refurbishment is worthwhile depends on the extent of the damage — we’ll assess this on site and give you an honest assessment of what’s possible.
This is how it works
First, we inspect your wheel rim and assess whether it can be professionally reconditioned. We then discuss the appropriate work with you and provide you with a quote in advance. Only then will the wheel rim be professionally reconditioned.
Not all types of damage to wheel rims can be repaired.
If there are cracks, deformations or structural damage, reconditioning is not permitted. In this case, we will advise you on a safe alternative.
- Inspection of the damage and assessment of whether a repair is permissible
- We’ll explain which types of cosmetic damage can be repaired
- Scratches, scuffs and other surface damage are repaired professionally
- Depending on the wheel rim and the damage, the surface is restored as appropriate and given a visual upgrade
